Deion Sanders, Buffs emerge in the pursuit of five-star Miami commit Cormani McClain
The decision to hire Deion Sanders as the Colorado Buffaloes head coach has immediately sent this program from an afterthought to a national talking point.
Wiltfong jumped on a 247Sports signing day show and discussed McClain. He mentioned that the Buffs are making a run at one of the best defensive players available this year who is still a Miami commit.
McClain is the No. 9 prospect in the nation and could team up with Travis Hunter if he decides to follow Coach Prime from Jackson State to Colorado.
Coach Prime made massive headlines last year when he flipped the top-ranked CB (Hunter) from Florida State to Jackson State, and now there’s a chance he does the same thing with McClain.
If this happens, the Buffs will be even more dangerous in 2023 and beyond, and this is only possible because of Coach Prime’s presence in Boulder.
